Put a stone in a ring

Dear Sir or Madam,

at a ring, which is certainly not worth much, but has ideal value as an heirloom, I would like to have a missing stone replaced and placed. I suppose, that the stone is polished lava rock, since the ring probably comes from Sicily. Maybe a repair is too expensive and not worth it. So I'd just like an estimate and an appraisal for now, whether a repair is feasible.

In the photos you can see the missing stone as well as the remaining stones.
