Have part of an Hermès watch gilded

I have a fairly old Hermès Arceau watch made of stainless steel and would now like to have the ring around the dial gold-plated. The watch glass probably cannot be removed, without damaging the seal - so it would be ideal, if gilding were possible without removing the glass.
